Oblivion’s Reach

Oblivion’s Reach is centered upon the Christian faith but considers several very important issues central to all religions.
There is the sometimes unspoken questioning of the Power of Prayer. Why are my prayers not being answered? Does God hear me? Are there Angels? Can you see them? How do we get them to help us or will they? Set in the geographically beautiful river country of Southern Illinois, the story takes readers to the Little Grand Canyon, The Garden of the Gods, Bald Knob, and The Shawnee National Forest.

Oblivion’s Reach centers around the life of Jones Obrien who has just lost his wife to a horrible cancer. His faith is on the line as mysterious fires began cropping up with no explanation in sight. There are no witnesses and no perpetrators. An invisible enemy is on the attack and as the situation escalates, Jones is visited by two of God’s Angelic Warriors who explain to him the gravity of the battle to come.

As the book’s trailer so aptly says:
Before the Earth’s last days, before there would be a population left behind, the battle for those that were chosen, those that would go, raged between the forces of Heaven and Hell. Grounded in biblical history, the book is faithful to the scripture that guides its two main tenets; the inability of angels to act unless asked and the unrelenting force of the power of prayer.
